My interest in photography started out when my oldest sister entered state competitions in high school. Upon the birth of my son, (like many proud moms), I started taking pictures. My love for capturing those special moments quickly grew into a passion. Others saw my work and soon I was asked to take pictures (individual and senior portraitures, graduations, family portraiture, corporate events, reunions, athletic events, special events, birthdays, engagement, weddings, anniversaries, and various events.)
Coming up with the name for the studio that was unique, but yet meaningful was important to me. I was born in the Philippines. Having been raised in the states has been a privilige and one I'll be forever grateful for. That being said, I did not want to forget my heritage--where I came from. In honor of my mom's side of the family, I named the studio Segovia Studios (outside of Barcelona, Spain).
I am the official photographer for Christian Business Women Ministry, Alberta Katherine Magazine and a local radio station. My work has been requested by a recording studio, music artists from Nashville, college, daycares, schools, various local and national organizations and used in a children's book and is featured in a local magazine, including the Ponte Vedre Beach Chronicle and on the front cover of a premiere home magazine. I have photographed events for companies such as AT&T, Chick-filet, Home Depot, and Women of Faith. My experience has also involved the musical and political arenas.
My clientele has and continues to grow by "word-of-mouth" from my former and returning clients. Requests have already been received for international work and sessions are scheduled into 2012! I enjoy and absolutely LOVE what I do with a passion! I thank God for the talent He has given me.
